Deutsche Post AG (LSE: DPO) is a private postal company established by the privatization of Deutsche Post AG in 1995. The other two companies after the split are Deutsche Telekom and Deutsche Post Bank. Deutsche Post's current main business has four aspects: mail, express delivery, logistics and finance.

Deutsche Post established the Deutsche Post International Network through corporate acquisitions (DHL, Post Bank, Danzas, etc.). In 2010, the revenue was 51.48 billion euros and the profit was 2.541 billion euros. By 2010, Deutsche Post's network covered 220 countries and regions, with approximately 421,270 employees worldwide.

Since 2002, the Deutsche Post headquarters has been located in the new conference center of the Deutsche Post Building in Bonn. The current CEO is Dr. Frank Appel. In 2003, Deutsche Post acquired all the shares of First Mail, a private mail service provider in Düsseldorf. On June 14, 2005, Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) sold 11.4% of Deutsche Post's shares worth 2 billion euros on the capital market. Since then, the state-owned assets of Deutsche Post have been less than 50%.
